In the rich tapestry of life, each of us comes with a unique story, and at Asaii, we believe our clothes should echo these personal tales. Our memories, akin to cherished photographs, find expression through the intricate art of hand-painting at our studio, one garment at a time.
Plant-based Fabric Colours
We take pride in utilizing 100% natural, organic, and vegan paints directly on garments during our hand-painting process. This conscious choice ensures our creative journey leaves a minimal ecological footprint.
Swatch Testing
Before we begin painting on our fabrics, a meticulous swatch testing is conducted to close in on our colour pairings and to ensure the compatibility of the paint with the material.
Hand-painting
The hand-painting process is executed with precision, allowing each stroke to tell a unique story. Following this artistic expression, the garment is left to dry for two days, allowing the colors to fuse seamlessly into the fabric.
Wash and Treatment
Once dried, it is first dipped and rinsed in cold water. Followed by a warm bath with a touch of liquid detergent added. Once the water runs clear, the garment is dipped in cold water once again to rinse off the soap and to infuse the colours of the paint with life.
