A tale of two Bombays; hand-painted on 100% cotton, The Taj Set brings together the grandeur of the first Taj Hotel with the resilience of Dharavi’s lived reality.

The button-down Shirt has a resort collar, drop shoulders and wide-cuffed long sleeves. On the front, clean lines and the hand-painted Taj reflecting structure, pride, and legacy. Turn around, and the back tells a different story, raw edges, a tie-up detail, and hand-drawn homes that speak of ingenuity and survival. 

The Pants have a relaxed straight fit, with a zip front, elasticated waist. The hand-painted art at the hem is a reminder of the contrasts we carry, and the strength that binds them.

We believe all fabrics deserve to be treated well, and our fabrics are particularly delicate and lightweight. So please remember to be gentle when you wash your piece. Avoid scrubbing. We recommend you use a liquid detergent for washing. Colors tend to last longer if clothes are not exposed to direct sunlight.

For our painted garments, it takes us around a week of love and labor to finish each garment. Shipping for these items usually takes us 2 weeks before we ship them out.
