Wear your story.

At Asaii, we believe that clothing is a canvas for personal expression, a language that speaks volumes about individuality. Our garments go beyond being mere ensembles; they are crafted to resonate with your unique identity.

When you choose a custom piece from Asaii, it's not just a garment; it's a tangible extension of your story. We understand the emotional connection people forge with their clothes—a connection that transcends the ordinary and transforms the act of getting dressed into a meaningful experience.

This ethos aligns seamlessly with the philosophy of slow fashion, where each piece is imbued with quality, longevity, and a personal touch that outlasts fleeting trends.

We invite you to share your stories with us. Let us know the moments you hold close to your heart, and we'll turn them into wearable art.

Because you will always be around

For Mom, From Karan

The best gift is what has a little bit of everything. Karan wanted to gift his mother something that she could cherish. He wanted to thank her for passing on her love for nature not only to him but also his daughters. Karan had the photo of her balcony at home which is also her favourite part of the house. Another photo of his daughters, one on his shoulders and one safely around his arm as the three generations stood in the same spot. These core memories were blended intricately and hand-painted onto the Asaii Tourma Shirt for her birthday. Each part of the design has been customised with details so that she could notice something new each time.

The South Asia Retreat

Marina

During her year-long journey through South Asia, Marina created a treasure trove of memories that left unique imprints on her heart. Marina’s most cherished memories were the serene yoga retreat with its swaying palms and the peaceful time she spent with the monks. Amongst breathtaking landscapes, Marina stumbled upon an unassuming wooden structure, whose very presence itself seemed to tell a silent tale. Captivated by these distinct yet interconnected stories, she entrusted us to craft a custom paint piece that would forever remind her of those moments in India.

Whispers of Iceland

Aziza and Keerat

In the haze of a challenging year, Aziza and Keerat found themselves at a crossroads, when life had dealt them unexpected cards, a spontaneous decision to go to Iceland turned into something of cathartic bliss. Iceland welcomed the duo with open arms. As they explored the land of fire and ice, Aziza and Keerat found solace in the raw and untouched beauty that surrounded them. The memories created during that trip became a testament to their resilience. We had the pleasure of turning that memory into a tangible addition to their closet.

The MNR Tuk-Tuk

For Nicolas, from Jonas

On his journey to South Asia, Nicholas came across a sea of faces, but one stood out - Raju, an auto driver with a heart as big as his smile. In Raju's auto-rickshaw, Nicholas found a friend who helped him rediscover the act of love along the way. As their friendship blossomed, Nicholas marveled at Raju's wisdom, his deep connection to his culture, and his infectious laughter. He cherished Raju's profound knowledge and the fun they had together, from learning mantras to discussing Shiva and the moon. But beyond the joys, Nicholas recognized the lessons he could learn from Raju. Raju’s simple acts of compassion and connection were a reminder that love and kindness should be the norm, not the exception. Raju became Nicholas's guide, not just through the winding streets of Mysore, but also to the simple, profound act of loving.

The Whirling Dervish

Nima

Sufism resonated with her early on, the concept of us being travellers on earth; to discover, to be free spirited, and yet to be in a constant state of love. A Sufi's hand is extended upward during meditation while whirling to receive energy from the universe, while the other hand is directed downward towards earth to give back. She tries to emulate the above qualities and nothing gives us more joy than being able to craft this piece especially for her.

Safe Space

Nisha Santhalia

Often, we don’t have photographs of everyday things that have shaped our childhood. Nisha, in the loving memory of her father, wanted to capture her everyday scooter ride with her father which is her fondest memory of him. The breeze caressing her face as she stood there safely tucked between her dad’s arms riding to school in her pigtails. At the Asaii studio, we detailed the design with certain elements of her childhood frock with the flowers on the hem, her father’s sports shoes and his visorless helmet and of course, the lovely ol’ scooter.
